Necessity

By Jesse Came Athi.

No more
Starless nights,
Stars no longer hidden by clouds.
We need Rainy days, we need sunny days.
Its time for light to shine,
Because of the necessity,
To take away darkness,
Necessity to shine.

Time for stars to come out,
Time for clouds to pave way,
I believe God wants the world to see light,
The world is so cold,
We need the greatest star to bring warmth,
There is always need for rain,
We all need pain,
Nothing is constant,
Transitions make us strong,
Traditions are never wrong,
Things been the same for long,
Time to start another tradition,
We’re in the midst of transition.

No more
Starless nights,
Stars no longer hidden by clouds.
We need Rainy days, we need sunny days.
Its time for light to shine,
Because of the necessity,
To take away darkness,
Necessity to shine.

I thank the Lord for the rainy days,
The cloudy days and the sunny days,
The calm days and the stormy days,
This is what makes me,
Am wild but nature tames me,
No matter the weather He is always here for me,
I know the reason why there are seasons,
I can neither sleep when its harvest time nor when its sowing time,
I cannot forget to pluck out the weed,
Lord help Stars take lead,
You made us stars
Keep shedding your light in us
So that as they follow us we will not mislead,
Show us the way and we will show them the way.

No more
Starless nights,
Stars no longer hidden by clouds.
We need Rainy days, we need sunny days.
Its time for light to shine,
Because of the necessity,
To take away darkness,
Necessity to shine.
